Her name is Tul AlMloohi. Tul is 22 years old now, and considered the icon of the Syrian revolution even before it started.

Tul has been in the Syrian regime's jail for four years for writing a poem over the internet calling for freedom of thinking, and for better human rights in Syria.

She was detained by the security forces of the regime in 2009, and was sentenced to five years imprisonment. The verdict was: "degrading the respectability of the state of Syria. ".
